Igor Grant, MD, professor of psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and colleagues have been awarded a $17 million grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse to establish the Translational Methamphetamine AIDS Research Center (TMARC) at UC San Diego.

The Translational Methamphetamine AIDS Research Center is pleased to announce receipt of funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse as for its 5-year program of innovative research examining the combined effects of HIV infection and methamphetamine dependence on the structure and function of the central nervous system.
